Dont buy this item!!!
User: simon a, Jun 4, 2008
Pros: looks
Cons: stopped working after 2hrs
This is a great item in theory but not practical at all. The spare battery fits very snug and I do mean snug. There is no way to get the battery out without losing a nail by prying the thing out. The battery fits flush with the charger and theres only a slight cut out on the side of charger for your finger nail to pry the battery out and it doesnt work. Another problem with this item is that the contacts were not working correctly. My new (non-charged) battery was showing a full charge on the charger which was completely wrong. I had to force the already super tight battery fit to the right before the green LED light turned red, indicating "charge in progress". In less than 2hrs the light went off altogether and now doesnt work at all. since there are no instructions wiht this charger I would guess that it is broken. I tried my 50 charged phone battery to see if the spare was the problem but it was the same outcome.
Buy this unit if you need a heavy paper weight for your desk that can also function as a phone holder or if you want to lose all feeling on your finger tips.
